Intermolecular forces means forces between the molecules or atoms of matter
As we know
3 states of matter are -
Solid , liquid and gas
In solid these forces are too strong.
In liquid these forces are less stronger than solids but stronger than gases.
In gases these forces are weakest.

They are solid ,liquid and gas .
