what are involuntary muscles .where they are found
Answers
✝️ Involuntary Muscles:
These muscles are also known as Smooth muscles or Non-striated muscles. These muscle fibres are long, narrow, spindle shaped and tapering at the end. The bands are generally absent. They are uninucleated(have only one nucleus). The muscles are known as Involuntary muscles, because they can't work according to our wish. They work independently and don't get fatigued. They contract slowly. The oblique bridges and interrelated discs are absent. They have less mitochondria and glycogen granules as compared to voluntary muscles.

✝️ Examples:
Of course, when we say that they work independently, it means that they are present in internal organs. The places where we find Involuntary muscles are:
- Wall of hollow organs( Stomach, lungs etc.)
- Ureter
- Iris of eye
- Bronchi, Trachea, other pipes.
- Dermis of skin.
✝️ Muscular tissues:
The Muscular tissues are three types:- Striated (Voluntary) muscles, Smooth muscles (Involuntary) and Cardiac muscles. They differ from each in terms of anatomy, number of nucleus, presence of discs and bands etc.
✳ Cardiac muscles - These are the heart muscles. They are elongated, cylindrical, branched muscle fibres. The bands are present but are fainter than striated muscles. They are Involuntary. They contract rapidly and don't get fatigued.
✳ Striated muscles - They are voluntary muscles and can be controlled according to our wish. They are elongated and have alternate bands. They are multinucleated. They contract rapidly and get fatigued soon.

Here is your answer
Involuntary muscles are the muscles which contract without conscious control. The contraction is controlled by the autonomic nervous system. These are present in the walls of the digestive system, blood vessels, bronchi, uterus and bladder.
