Heya user,
islet of Lagerhans --> The Pancreatic islet is a region where the Hormone-producing cells of Pancreas are present ..
The members produce different hormones such as--->
(i) Alpha cells --- > Glucagon
(ii) Beta Cells ---> Insulin and Amylin
(iii) Delta Cells --> Somatostatin
While insulin is responsible for processing of glucose, other hormones specialize in other roles..... [ Sorry ! I dont know any further ]
Hope this much would satisfy
