What are Isodiaphers? Kindly Explain..

Atoms having same isotopic number are called isodiaphers.
Isotopic number = Number of neutrons - Number of protons

E.g. ¹⁵N₇ and ¹⁷O₈
No. of neutrons in ¹⁵N₇ = 15 - 7 = 8
Isotopic number of ¹⁵N₇ = 8 - 7 = 1

No. of neutrons in ¹⁷O₈ = 17 - 8 = 9
Isotopic number of ¹⁷O₈ = 9 - 8 = 1

Both ¹⁵N₇ and ¹⁷O₈ have same isotopic number (i.e 1). Hence both are isodiaphers.
