What are isogamous , anisogamous and oogamous?

The main difference between anisogamy isogamy andoogamy is that anisogamy is the fusion of gametes in dissimilar size while isogamy is the fusion of gametes in similar size andoogamy is the fusion of large, immotile female gametes with small, motile male gametes

Isogamous :- Similar in size (as in Spirogyra).

Anisogamous :- Fusion of two gamets dissimilar in size , as in species of Eudorina..

Oogamous :- Fusion between one large , non motile (static) female gamets and a smaller , motile male gametes..
