1)An isolated metabolic reaction is the reaction which is carried out in-vitro i.e. outside the cell in a cell-free system. Such reactions are performed in a test tube. Hence, they are living reactions but not living things.   2) Isolated metabolic reactions are helpful in several ways: They are useful to perform different researches in laboratories.They help to study various metabolic pathways.

The isolated metabolic reaction ia a reaction whih is carried out in a cell free system that means vitro/outside the cell. And also these reactions will be performed in the testubes.so these are living reactions but not the living things.and these reactions helps us in many ways:: they are---to perform various reaservhes in the labs,and to gain knowledge about the metabolic pathways.....
