→ Basically, joints are the parts where 2 or more bones meet.
★ TYPES OF JOINTS:-
→ There are 3 types of joints, they are:-

★ Synovial joint:-
→ There are 6 types of synovial joints, they are:-
- Pivot joint
- Hinge joint
- Saddle joint
- Plane joint
- Condyloid joint
- Ball and socket joint
★ Pivot joint:-
→ It is also called as rotatory joint. It helps in rotation of the movements. It can be found between our neck vertebrae.
★ Hinge joint:-
→ This type of joints can be found between our elbow, toes, fingers, ankles and knees.
★ Saddle joint:-
→ It allows angular movements same as Condyloid joint. Like, a thumb is a saddle joint which can be moved back and forth, and up and down more freely than fingers.
★ Plane joint:-
→ It is also called as gliding joint. This type of joints are mainly associated with small bones. It allows for movement in many directions, and the flexibility of our wrists.
★ Condyloid joint:-
→ It is also called as an elllpsodal joint. It allows angular movement along two axes, as in the joints of the wrist and fingers which can be seen both up and down, and side to side.
★ Ball and socket joint:-
→ It is generally found as the shoulder joint and hip joint. It involves two bones.
