Kharif crops are the crops which are harvested during the summer season .

These crops are generally grown in countries of South Asia like India , Bangladesh , etc .

The kharif crops are sown at the beginning of monsoon season .

Rice is an example of kharif crop sown in India .

Another example is bajra .

The sowing time starts from June .

The harvesting time begins at summer .

The kharif crops need good amount of rainfall .

Hence they are grown in places receiving high rainfall .

{This crop is not harvested on less time ,they take more days }

{some examples of kharif crops are maize,millet,perl,ragi etc..
