HIMACHAL. is known as the lesser Himalayas. It is not so much as himadri. It lies between himadri and shiwaliks.
AVERAGE. HEIGHT : They have an average height of 3700m to 4500m above sea level, and extend over a width of 50km.
PIR. PANJAL , DHAULA DHAR. and MAHABHARAT. ranges are the most important ranges of lesser Himalayas.
