There are two different types of nutrition:-

Autotrophic Nutrition:-

Autotrophic nutrition is a mode of nutrition in which an organism prepares its own food with the help of simple inorganic materials like water and carbon dioxide from the surrounding.

Heterotrophic nutrition:-

heterotrophic mode of nutrition, organisms directly or indirectly depend on autotrophs for food. Organisms which show this mode of nutrition are called Heterotrophs. They cannot prepare their own food.
