Literary Criticism means
the practice that people do by judging or commenting on the qualities or works or even short comings of the literature

Literary Criticism belongs to electronic literature

I cannot say it is good or bad as government made it but i can give my point of view
I think it is good to have Literary Criticism as literary criticism helps to find mistakes in literature. Mistakes help good things to convert into better and better into best. Mistakes help to recognize the short comings of writing and as we know nice piece of writing also have some short comings . So it's great to have literary criticism as it can find the shortcomings in the nice piece of writing and make it more better.
So it's probably good to have it

Answer:

Literary criticism (or literary studies) is the study, evaluation, and interpretation of literature. Modern literary criticism is often influenced by literary theory, which is the philosophical discussion of literature's goals and methods
