What are liver and pancreas . write their function in details?

Liver is the largest gland present in the human body. It secretes bile juice which is stored in gall bladder. The functions performed by the liver are :
I) Liver helps in the digestion of food by the secretion of bile.
II) Liver converts harmful toxins into harmless substances which are excreted out.
III) Liver helps in the elimination of metabolic wastes.
IV) Liver helps in the storage of iron, copper, calcium, fat soluble vitamins A and D, water and many other substances.
V) Liver helps to keep the body temperature constant.

Pancreas are pinkish, leaf-like, triangular, much lobed glands present below the stomach. The functions performed by the pancreas are :
I) It secretes pancreatic juice.
II) It contains enzymes such as amylase, trypsin, lipase, etc. that help in the digestion of food.

The liver's main job is to filter the blood coming from the digestive tract, before passing it to the rest of the body.

==> The pancreas is an organ located in the abdomen. It plays an essential role in converting the food we eat into fuel for the body's cells.

==> The pancreas has two main functions: an exocrine function that helps in digestion and an endocrine function that regulates blood sugar.
