The management of our natural resources requires a long-term perspective. The advantage of long-term perspective is:
Resources will last for future generations and they will not get fully exhausted.
• Resources will be distributed equitably and just a handful of rich and influential people will not reap the benefit of the development of the resources.
• Environmental problems and damage to the environment will not be caused, if long- term perspective is kept in mind. Thus by sticking to long-term perspective, ecological imbalance wit) not be caused.

short term prospective is just look at need of present time
while long term prospective is filling the demand of present so carefully as they will remain in appropriate amount in future also
