what are lubricants? how can we reduce friction

Lubricant is a oily substance like oil and grease.
We can reduce friction by lubricating the sewing machine etc, it reduces friction because a third layer is coming between both the surfaces. Hope it will help u plz mark me as a brainlist

Lubricants are the things which are used to reduce the friction...
To reduce the friction add any lubricant like "Oil","Water" and "balls" etc
