Hi
lysosome are suicidal bags

Function:
✡They help to keep the cell clean by digesting any foreign material that enters the cell as well as worn out cellular organelles.hemce they are called scavenger and cellular house keepers
✡ They remove foreign material by breaking it into small pieces through its powerful digestive enzymes .These enzyme can breakdown all organic material.
✡ During starvation the lysosome digest stored food contents by autophagy and supply energy to the cell

Lysosomes are specialized vesicles within cells that digest large molecules through the use of hydrolytic enzymes. Vesicles are small spheres of fluid surrounded by a lipid bilayer membrane, and they have roles in transporting molecules within the cell.
