The six macro-nutrients required by plants are nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and sulphur.

Macro Nutrients - It is very important for survival of an organism.It is needed in large amounts so as to protect from infections and for proper growth.Ex -Proteins, carbohydrates,fats.

Micronutrients -It is only needed in small amounts so as to flourish the body with other requirements.Ex.-Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium.,etc
