magneticgield lines are along which magnetic force is exerted

Explanation:

we know that magnets create magnetic field around it and this magnetic fields can b described by drawing magnetic field lines

Magnetic field lines are the line a along which a North magnetic pole would move when placed in a magnetic field. and if the pole is free to move this force of the magnetic field can produce a motion or under the influence of the magnetic field the north pole would move , the path traced by it is called magnetic fieldlines

these field lines have both magnitude as well as direction

hope that helps you
