what are major powers and functions of prime ministers?

a prime minister is the leader of the majority party or coalition parties in the Lok Sabha .

2. Prime Minister advises the president in appointing or removing the high officials.

3. the Prime Minister can remove a Minister from a cabinet of Council of Ministers by asking him or her to resign.

4. the Prime Minister calls the meetings of the Council of Ministers presides over them and decide the agenda.

5 the Prime Minister is the leader of the Lok Sabha . the Prime Minister is the chief spokesman of the government in the parliament
