❥Malleability :-
- The ability of metal that can be beaten into thin sheets is called malleability. Malleability and temperature are directly proportional. Malleability increases with an increase in temperature.
❥Ductility :-
- It is the property of a metal that can be drawn into wire. Ductility and temperature are inversely proportional. The ductility of the metals decreases as the temperature increases because metals become weak at high temperature.
❥Examples:-
- Examples of malleable metals are gold, iron, aluminum, copper, silver, and lead.
- Copper, aluminum, and steel are examples of ductile metals.
