Malware is nothing but malicious software that harms your device and the data in it. This can be done by injecting a malicious co-de into your device with or without your concern with the intent of damaging the system.

Malware is of several types and each one of them works for a particular task. Few of them are:

1. Spyware:

As the name itself says, this malware is used to spy on the activities done by the user through the system and sending the info to the attacker without the user's knowledge.

2. Virus:

A virus is a malware that most of the time is attached to valid files and dumped into the system in order to replicate itself in bulk into the system with the intent of infecting it and increasing the payload.

3. Ransomware:

Rather than infecting the computer, it encrypts the data in it and demands a ransom (money) in order to decrypt it.

4. Adware:

It spies the activities done and the information downloaded or stored into the system by the user in order to deliver advertising at huge rates that makes it difficult in order to stop the advertisement flow.

5. Trojan:

A trojan is a malicious co-de, which often looks like a bonafide application in order to trick you using it and steals the data, or deletes or damages the data in the system. In simple terms, it takes the control of the system from you by tricking you to use an illegitimate app or file.
