Man-made disasters are caused by men activities. These are caused by human errors and are generally unpredictable.Some important types of man-made disasters are industrial disasters, nuclear disaster, Oil Spills, chemical disasters, transportation accidents, terrorism.

In Chernobyl nuclear disaster a nuclear reactor exploded and release about 50 tonnes of radioactive substances into the atmosphere. The radiation quickly spread in the northern hemisphere. This radiation is high levels and very dangerous.
