maps are unlike a photo graph which are very use full to us there are so many maps like political maps thematic maps, historical maps, potical maps ETC.. in olden days maps are used to for sailors but now a day's maps used for construction , planning and business purposes

MAP:A diagrammatic representation of an area of land or sea showing physical features, cities, roads, etc.
maps are used to know where different places are located on the land 
maps even show the road ways to different places travelling to unknown or different places are made easier with the help of maps
