                                MARSUPIALS THE IMPORTANT PART OF ECOSYSTEM 

1.)They are a group of mammals which commonly and in most of the cases have a pouch to carry the young ones . Just like  kangaroo..
2.)They differ from the placental mammals like us with respect to the reproductive system .you could understand that when there is difference in the reproductive system the reproductive methods would be different too
3.) Marsupials have a very short gestation period so short  like it may be only for 3-4 weeks
4.) they are born during the fetal stage usually hence the brood pouch to carry them until they are young enough to get out the pouch
