Answer:- Metalloids are a group of elements that have both properties of metals and non-metals.Examples of metalloids are boron,silicon,arsenic,antimony etc.Metalloids like silicon and germanium, are semi-conductors. This means that they can carry an electrical charge under certain conditions.

Those elements which are having both qualities of metal and nonmetals are called metalloids . Ex. Arsenic boron etc.
