◆Metals:-

•The Elements which are malleable as well as ductile and also conduct electricity are called metals.

•They are Lustrous and have high tensile strength.

•They can be solid liquid and gas at Room temperature.

•They have high density.

•They are sonorous.

For example:-
Iron
Copper
Good
Sodium

◆Non-metals:-

•Non-metals are the Elements which are just Opposite to metals.

•They are niether malleable not ductile and also don't conduct electricity.

•They are not lustrous and they don't have high tensile strength.

•They can be solid ,liquid or gas at Room temperature.

•They don't have high density.

•They are also non sonorous, that is ,they don't produced ringing sound which we strike them .

For example:-
Carbon
Sulphur
Phosphorous
Hydrogen
Oxygen
