metal :metal are malleable and ductile elements which are good conductors of electricity and heat.

  • it is used for making electric wire(copper), machine parts(iron), packaging medicine (using aluminum foil),jewellery and thermometers, etc.

non metal: non metal are the elements which neither malleable nor ductile, they are brittle. non metal don't conduct heat and electricity.

  • it is used for making fertilizers, antiseptic, fuels,hardening of rubber,for breathing.
