Difference between metals and non metals
1)Metals are usually hard whereas non metals are generally soft
2)Most metals have lustre(shine) whereas most non metal do not shine (exception diamond)
3)metas are malleable ( can be drawn into thin sheets like aluminium foil) whereas non metal are not malleable they break on hammering.
4)metals are ductile( can be drawn into wire like copper wire) where non metals are not ductile .
