Dear user,

Your answer.

A small piece of rock, etc. in space. When a meteor enters the earth’s atmosphere it makes a bright line in the night sky

How they are formed?

=> Meteor showers occur when dust or particles from asteroids or comets enter Earth's atmosphere at very high speed. When they hit the atmosphere, meteors rub against air particles and create friction, heating the meteors. The heat vaporizes most meteors, creating what we call shooting stars.

Meteors are small body of matter from outer space that enters the earth's atmosphere, becoming incandescent as a result of friction and appearing as a streak of light.

They are formed when various types of dust and small grains that were present in the early solar system accreted to form primitive asteroids. They are the most common type of meteorite that falls to Earth: They are about 85 or 86 per cent of all meteorites.
