Minerals are substances that occur naturally, are usually solid and inorganic, it has a crystal structure, different from a rock and is representable by chemical formulas.
Ores are nothing but a type of rock that contains sufficient minerals with some important elements which also includes metals and are extracted from the earth through mining.

One good difference between ores and minerals is that:-
Minerals- All minerals are not ores.
Ores:- All ores are essential minerals too.

Answer:

Minerals are elements or compounds, which occur naturally in the earth's crust.

Minerals contain a very high percentage of a particular metal and the metal can be profitably extracted from it. These minerals are known as ores.
