Alcohols which are having only hydroxyl (-OH) group are called as monohydric alcohols.

In general, this monohydric alcohol is an organic compound with the only one alcohol functional group.

People can identify the monohydric alcohol by looking into their group which will be oxygen and hydrogen atom.

The best example for the monohydric alcohols is Ethanol and Propanol.
