Nastic movements are non-directional responses to stimuli, and are usually associated with plants. The movement can be due to changes in turgor or changes in growth.Examples include the diurnal movement of leaves and the response of insectivorous plants, such as the Venus fly trap, to prey.

The movements which allow organs of plants to move in or the other direction is called movements of curvature. Example: Drooping of leaves. Curvature movements : In such movements plant organs move towards or away from the stimulus.

nastic movement are due to differences in the rate of growth on two opposite side

Ex:opening of petals and circinately coiled leaves

Curvature movement are as seen in twiners and climbers. This results in curvature and helps in twinning around the support
