Natural resources:

The matter or substance which is available on earth can be used for benefit of human being it is called as natural resources. It includes factors such as water, plants, wind, animal etc.

Two factors that work against an equitable distribution of these resources:

  • Climatic factors play a vital role in inequitable distribution of these resources. For example region which has high amount of rainfall may have good forest cover as forest demands waterfall for its growth.
  • Population explosion acts as another factor. In region where population is less, the resource availability will be more; on the other hand in region where the population is high, the resource availability will be less and cause inequitable distribution.

Reason for conservation of natural resources:

  • We must conserve natural resource because; our present as well as future generations need it. Judicial use of available resource must be engaged and practiced.
