Nephron is the basic filtering unit found in kidney. It is a long coiled tubule ,whose one end is connected to the double walled cup shaped structure called Bowman's capsule and the other end to a urine collecting duct . Bowman's capsule contains a bundle of blood capillaries known as glomerulus that is followed by the tubular part of nephron, which forms loops at some places.❤️❤️❤️

1. Glomerulus filters the blood passing through it

2. it also ensure to remove only harmful substances from the body that includes nitrogenous material

3. Some substances like potassium are actively secreted in the urine through tubule

4. The collecting duct collect the urine and passes it to ureter

I hope it will help you
