nastic movements are movements which doesn't leads to growth . the change is just for time being.
types; thigmonasty
seismonasty.
ex: mimosa pudica ( touch me not)

tropic movements are movements which leads to growth. the changes are permanent.
types: phototropic-- movement due to light
geotrophic--- movement due to gravity.
