NEURON IS A BASIC UNIT OF BRAIN, SPECIALIZED CELL DESIGN TO TRANSFER INFORMATION TO ANOTHER CELL. NEURON ARE MADE OF CELL BODY CALLED (SOMA).

IN SIMPLE TERMS = NEURON IS AN INDIVIDUAL SPECIALIZED CELL WHICH ARE PRIMARY INVOLVED IN TRANSMITTING INFORMATION TO THE BRAIN.

FOR THE SPINAL CORD WE CAN SAY THAT THERE ARE 3 TYPES OF NEURON CALLED:-

  • SENSORY NEURONS
  • MOTOR NEURONS
  • INTERNEURONS
