•Noble metals are those that have outstanding resistance to oxidation, even at high temperature. The grouping of such metals is not well defined but usually includes rhenium, ruthenium, rhodium, palladium, silver, osmium,iridium, platinum and gold that is the metals of VIIb,VIII, and Ib of the second and third transition series of the periodic table.
•Noble gases the ones in the last period of the periodic table. helium, neon, argon, krypton, xenon, organesson. They have similar properties. Odorless, colourless, monoatomic gases with low chemical reactivity. They have completely filled outermost electronic shell.
