Noble Metals are metals which do not react with any other element.  An example is Gold, Ag, which does not react. Platinum (Pl), Rhodium (Rh) and Irridium (Ir) are other metals. Most of the Noble Metals are dissolvable in Aqua Regia (HNO₃+3HCl), a highly corrosive acid.
