Non -attackable:- Those electrodes which are unable to take part in the reaction are known as non attackable electrodes.

Some important points on Non attackable electrodes are as follows:-

1. They are consist of some unreactive substance like graphite, Pt etc.

2. In this mass will remains unchanged as they can't get dissolve in the solution.

3. Cation having higher potential will discharge at the side of cathode.

4. While in case of the two anions which will have lower reduction potential will discharge to the side of cathode.

Answer:

Answer:In such electrodes, atom of the metal gets oxidised into the corresponding cation, which is passed into the solution. ... On the other hand, non-attackable electrodes do not participiate in the electrode reaction as they made up of unreactive elements like Pt, graphite etc.

Hope it helps you
