Answer:

Non-green plants are those plants which lac chlorophyll. Non-green plants cannot make their own food because they do not have chlorophyll in their leaves which breaks down carbon dioxide and water molecules thus do not produce glucose(food). They cannot make their own food and usually absorb food from other plants, dead animals or stale food.

Answer:

Non-green plants are those plants which lack Chlorophyll. The non-green plants are Fungi like mushrooms, yeast, moulds, Penicillium etc. ... They cannot make their own food and usually absorb food from other plants, dead animals or stale food. Plants are called producers because they make – or produce – their own food. Their roots take up water and minerals from the ground and their leaves absorb a gas called carbon dioxide (CO2) from the air. They convert these ingredients into food by using energy from sunlight.
