Phanerogams is referred to that plants in which sex organs are visible or seed bearing plants.

It's two groups are Gymnosperms and Angiosperms

In Gymnosperms, seeds are not enclosed by ovary wall whereas in Angiosperms seeds are enclosed by ovary wall.

It's two groups are:

• Gymnosperms : These are the non flowering plants. For ex: Pinus ,cycas etc.

• Angiosperms : These are the flowering plants . For ex: Paphiopedilium, Ipomoea etc.
