Define plains and explain how they're formed.
Plains are the equally leveled flat lands that have plain surfaces and no mountains.
The rivers after flowing down from mountains bring the alluvial soil down with them and when they reach lower slopes, the speed of river slows down, resulting in setting down of alluvial soil at that region, resulting in formation of eqaully leveled - fertile lands known as plains.
