There are five major hormones which are auxin, cytokinin, gibberellin, abscisic acid, and ethylene. Each hormonediffers in its effects. The auxins, gibberellins, and cytokinins act as growth stimulators, whereas, abscisic acid and ethylene act as growth inhibitors
