plastids are the cell organelles found in the cytoplasm of a plant cell.
there are of 3 types:--
** Chloroplast:-- plastids containing chlorophyll.
**Chromoplast:-- coloured plastids.
** Leucoplast:-- Transparent/no colour plastids.

Plastids are double membrane bounded structure which are found in plant cell only . Inside the last date of fluid material called stroma is present in stroma numerous membrane layer in remains scattered plastids like mitochondria do not have cristae . they also have extra nuclear DNA .there are two types of plastids : - i) Leucoplasts
ii) chromoplasts
