they are suspended in the blood plasma
they are formed in marrow cavity Of long bones
they help in forming the clot to stop excess bleeding from wounds

platelets are tiny fragments of special cells formed in the bone marrow.Platelets are help full to clot the blood in injury region. they are present in the blood.
