Schotky defect --- It is stoichiometric (particles missing from Crystal lattice in same no. without disturbing stoichiometry) , ionic defect
in this, size of anion is similar to size of cation . for e.g, NaCl, KCl,AgBr etc.
if Crystal is heated with high temp some particles missing from Crystal lattice .
at a time both anion and cation are escaping in equal proportion and form anionic and cation vacancy respectively.
