Heterotrophic nutrition is the mode of nutrition in which organisms depend upon other organisms to survive. All animals and non green plants are heterotrophic.

Hii....heterotrophs are those animals which cannot make their own food and depend on other sources for food..
herbivores ..carnivores and omnivores are heterotrophic group of animals out of which carnivores and omnivores can be predator organisms that hunt on other organisms for their livelihood ...herbivores usually dont hunt on animals ..they depend on plants for their sustainance...
