Prepositions are words which begin prepositional phrases. A prepositional phrase is a group of words containing a preposition, a noun or pronoun object of the preposition, and any modifiers of the object.
e.g T
he coffee is on the table beside you.

Conjunctions are words used as joiners. Different kinds of conjunctions join different kinds of grammatical structures.
e.g I like cooking and eating, but I don’t like washing dishes afterward.

An interjection is a word or expression that occurs as an utterance on its own and expresses a spontaneous feeling or reaction.
e.g. Hurray! It is a snow day and school is cancelled.
