Horizontally, the distribution of atmosphere pressure is not the same all over the world .Different parts of the Earth are heated unequally . Like the heat zones , we also have four major pressure belts around the earth.
Two factors that creates pressure belts are -Temperature and rotation of the earth .
☆The Equatorial Low
⠀Pressure belt ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀(5°N to 5°S )
☆ The Sub - tropical High ⠀( 30°N to 35°N )
⠀Pressur belt ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀and ( 30°S to 35°S )
☆ The Sub - Polar Low⠀⠀⠀( 60°N to 65°N )
⠀Pressure belt ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ and ( 60°S to 64°S )
☆ The Polar high ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀( 85°N to 90°N )
⠀ Pressure belt⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀and ( 85°S to 90°S )
