Such activities are directly related to nature, such as cotton cultivation, In most developing nations such as India, primary activities is where a large section of the workforce is employed, in comparison to developed nations.

Primary sector is responsible for providing base to all the other sectors.

in primary sector we grow raw materials which can further be used by both the sector. eg. Primary sector provide woods, ----> Secondary sector make furniture ---> Territory sector use it.
