The number which has no orime factors other than one and itself

  • Prime number is greater than one.
  • 2 is only the prime number which is also a even number.

ex :- 1, 3, 5, 7, 11

5 is a prime number because,

5 has only common fator 1 and itself

that is,

5 = 1 × 5
